On Saturday, August 19, The Barry Bonds Family Foundation partnered with the Wender Weis Foundation for Children. Founded in 1994, the Wender Weis Foundation for Children (WWFC) has been improving the lives of underserved children in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 20 years. WWFC has funded innovative programs for underserved children in the areas of sports, health, and education. They are committed to improving at-risk children's self-esteem and self-confidence and it is their hope that all kids dream big, grow tall, and laugh hard.
I am very happy to have been able to participate in helping this highly important cause. Check out the slide show of some of the highlights of the event.
