The Barry Bonds Family Foundation has supported Super Stars Literacy in our shared focus on improving educational outcomes for children in low-income communities. The grant funding will help provide over 700 K-2nd grade students at eight high-need East Bay Area schools with daily in-school and after- school literacy intervention, social-emotional skill development, and family engagement activities, all of which are aimed at helping low-performing students catch up to grade level reading ability before the crucial 3rd grade benchmark. We are proud to partner with Super Stars Literacy in this important work.
